I think the sim is what did it in, when that kicked in, it was game over. But as mentioned I think a better sound could be coaxed out of the unit, so all is not lost. It just doesnt fit an American's idea of a clone unit as it approximates the old Porta B's bulk which had its day here and may just be rising in Japan of late.
