Subject:Re: OT--sustain pedal for Axiom 61 Pro
Thanks Bruce, I will be ordering and adapter soon--P.S. I had a "DOI" moment on the sustain pedal issue--The Roland 3 pedal unit has stereo tips-the Axiom sustain input is mono--It was also suggested to me on the forum, that since the Roland unit sends gradient sustain messages to it's own controllers and stage pianos , it may also receive power of some sort along those same lines--SO I will use my cheap sustain pedal with the Axiom :)

Yes, we sell an adapter that will most likely work with the Axiom
keyboard. It works with Roland keyboards, the M-Audio Keystation 88
Pro, many Fatar/Studiologic keyboards, etc. I can't say with 100%
certainty that it will work for you, because I've never tried it with an
Axiom 61 Pro. (Does someone use that combo? Maybe. Over 90% of our
adapter customers just buy the adapter, and never ask me, "Will it work
with ...")
Is it cheaper than buying another pedal? Probably. For me, cost was
never the issue. There is only one expression pedal made by *anyone*
that I like: the Yamaha FC7. So, for my personal situation, I would
rewire the pedal to make it work, regardless of the cost and time
involved. In fact, I did so for years. At one point, I had four
rewired FC7's going into a Roland master keyboard. YMMV, though, as to
whether another pedal is suitable for your needs.
