Yeah, I built a "Mock C" style cab (I just prefer the C style over the iconic B, go figure) but I can't bring myself to use it onstage so I use it at home in the basement for practice while the CV sits out in the garage ready for the next time it's pressed into service. I've got a dammp chaser heater bar running inside the CV to discourage condensation and start it up once in a while. I don't like keeping it in the garage but to get it in the house involves stairs and if I ever move it inside, the possibility of ever gigging with it again goes down exponentially.
