You are correct: The correct term is a Stereo Bypass Vent. In Vent
Mode, it still only takes one input -- the Left, or Tip -- and turns it
into a stereo pair. When in Bypass Mode, it provides two true-bypass
(direct wire from In to Out) channels, which allow the Vent to be used
with something like a Motif or Electro in full stereo without the need
for a mixer.
