Goff, totally agree with you on this. It took me a long time to find an amp system that now satisfies me. My amp chain is set up as follows; clone organ l&r channels into a Vent , l&r out of the Vent and into a NOS Leslie 145 Combo pre-amp, ( I use both inputs kind of a summed effect) this is plugged into a Leslie 145 amp powered cabinet that I made up with a vintage 15" speaker, using a Speakeasy crossover and a 16 ohm driver up top. In essence a motor-less Leslie that can also take care of pianos, electric pianos and any other voices I want. My clones are a Numa organ and SK2 & SK1. I have a few old original Leslie crossovers here that I may update the caps and try one of them against the SE cross, but all in all, it is pretty much finally set up the way I want it. My other live amp rig is a Leslie 2101 mkii sitting on top of a 2-10" cabinet that also does it for me. It depends on the band and venue etc which one I take along. Both are much easier to
move for me than my old 145 that now never leaves the house. YMMV applies of course. Thanks.
