Subject:Playing organ vs Keyboard

Today I used a Yamaha Motif rack es with my Nord C2d. I used a double bass sound routed to a bass combo amp (gives a solid double bass sound). Being a bassplayer (double bass and electric) I know how it should sound.

From a sound perspective it blended well with the 848 000 000 of the lower manual and if you add a small ammount the only attac from the double bass is heard.

The interesting thing is however that each time I try this I feel that some of the organ playing feeling is lost. The organ becomes a keyboard.

When I only have the organ sounds it feels like an organ and you have to solve all sounds using the "Hammond" palette.
