I believe Mr. DeFrancesco left Hammond US (he was an endorser not an employee) to buy into Diversi. I think there was a comment on their website to the effect that "I liked it so much I bought the company". He left Diversi (probably without his money) for KeyB. Diversi was buying older technology from KeyB for their keyboards but when KeyB came out with their next generation Diversi didn't get it.

Diversi has recently announced they will be selling a keyboard line from Brazil - Tokai. (Not the Japanese guitar company.)
