When these issues come up as they always do, I think it's very important to remember that not one of us is ever going to agree on all the details that concern our favorite clone.
I don't begrudge anyone for what they use or what they hear.
To me it's sort of like mixing music. There is a base line or accepted production value that a professional assumes should be followed, otherwise it's a matter of taste.
There are famous engineers and producers that love to compress everything and some they hate compression.
Chris Lord Alge is not going to be persuaded to mix any differently than he has over the years.
It's also the same with stage pianos and man is that a can of worms waiting to be opened.
Maybe my language was raw but it simply points to the varied tastes we have and it also points to all of the clones that are out there that we all decide to use.
Debating one another's opinions is a waste of time. No one can tell another person that they should or shouldn't use.
Certainly not me.
