Bruce,
I rarely find myself disagreeing with you, but this time I think I have to on points one and two. Maybe this is just a local thing, and you are more in touch with the commercial aspect of all of this than I am. I'm hearing more hammond these days in pop music and country (which I try to avoid but due to my love of barBQ I have to endure it sometimes at resturaunts) than ever. I'm also seeing more "kids" to us meaning 20 somethings using clones now than ever. Seems they all have something shiny and red or woodgrained these days in their rigs. I know everyone's opinion is valid but this is probably the first time I really hope I'm right and you're wrong just for the future of the instrument's sake.
Now more on the analog vs digital clone thing when I get my little guy off to school, since I have both hooked up and ready to go at all times in the studio....
