Subject:RE: Transpose a B3?
Hey Norm,
Was it a B or C style case? I heard they had a "no frills" case made for USO tours and Army chapels.
Was it Olive Green by any chance? I can attest to the weight having lugged a BC around. A fellow
list member (Rick I mean you!) who I was playing with chopped the legs off to make it more "portable"
but it really didn't help with the weight. As I recall he was also the same guy who used my Vox Jaguar
legs and made them into a keyboard stand....!! :) Those were the days!
BTW: I am flying to Seattle on Sunday (in time to watch the Seahawks play on TV at least) to look at
a project for UW. I won't have much free time the few days I will be there this trip but if I get the
gig I will hopefully get a chance to meet you and some other Seattle musicians and catch some local gigs.
I really like Seattle and won't mind spending some time there if the need arises.........
Cheers,
Gary
