That's strange because it's more easy to transpose on guitar than on
keyboard.

So this can be maybe problem of reading the music in keys with lot of
sharps or flats, not playing it. Maybe when guitarist just tries to
play in such "difficult" key without reading the score, he will
consider it easy.

But it's true that some keys use more open strings and voicing of
chords is at left on the fretboard, while some keys need to use barre
fingering or capo and can be more difficult to play. It depends also
on the music style - for sure hard rock power chords are more easy
then sophisticated jazz chords.
