Subject:MOJO Pedal Clavier - announcement from Guido

Guido posted an announcement on the MojoMusicians group on Saturday and, in light of some of the discussion here lately, I thought some of you may be interested. He says the new pedalboard will work with any clonewheel, although caveat emptor ... it probably requires a MIDI in and, since MOJO's pedals operate only on MIDI channel 3, it may be preset to that channel ... he doesn't specify. Hopefully we will have more information soon.

Anyway, here's what Guido wrote:

Hi dear group members,
Just quick update...
We choose to first go out with a 13 notes pedalboard instead of full semiradial just because we think it is a good brother for the mojo that is a compact lightweight organ... mojopedal has the same philosophy, compact, lightweight.

If you play pedals like Dennerlein, just don't buy it, it's not THAT kind of pedalboard, surely you can't do heel-toe on it!
But if you need to have a simple and not expensive pedalboard like accessory of your mojo (or any other organs or keyboards or bass synth ecc ecc), it is ok!

About the wooden sides, they are lower than the first and the last C, so this doesn't make any problem during play. It is very useful, for example, for the mojo bonus sound of synth that you have in your organ on ch3.

It will be available in 15/20 days at a very interesting price... we are defining but will be something like EUR 320,00 or USD 399,00 hard case, shipping and duties included (as usual).

bye

Andrea

So, that would make it available by two weeks from Thursday at the latest ... not exactly in time for Christmas delivery ... maybe you could convince wifes/significant others to put an IOU under the tree.

Best,
