This was apparently first done by the blind Mexican organist Ernesto "Hill" Olvera in the 1950s. In Mexico his style of playing became a standard (if rare) Hammond technique, but his haunting, vocoder-like sound has yet to become generally discovered elsewhere. Unfortunately, Olvera burnt himself out at a comparatively early age, after a successful music and film career, and he is all but forgotten outside his native Mexico.

This technique is probably easiest to achieve on an organ with real drawbars, especially if you can also program your own preset keys. Unfortunately it would be nearly impossible on a Nord or Casio with drawbuttons!

Now I have heard a lot of things done on a Hammond.
But this area was new to me :)

If you think of it it makes sence. Find sounds/drawbarsettings that
corresponds well to the vowel sounds of your language - Practice them like
mad.
Then start talking
