I know it is possible to split a midi keyboard and play 2 different manuals on a program like vb3. What about splitting between different tracks on the daw? I would like to play strings in the low register and vb3 in the higher register. I use a Privia keyboard and Reaper and haven't read anything at all about using a split keyboard to record on two separate tracks.
Has anyone done this?
