Thanks for the direction to the post. It really helps. So it appears that if I add at tube pre I may be closer than I ever have been. My Korg CX-3 has Version 2 software in it. Turning the speaker simulator off and setting the preamps to just preamp, really helped me get closer to a true tone. It still isn't the same as the original, and I don't think it ever will be. It helps when the sound is so close that we can play as if we were playing the real thing. I look forward to finding a tube pre that fits the budget and adding it to the sound.
