The instructions I received with my Vent made it a point that everything
should be plugged into it before plugging the power cord into it. Not sure
why this is but they seemed to stress it. ??? ORF Bob

Yeah, I always turn the amps off first and put them on last. My art tube
preamp and Vent and EQ pedal have no power on/off strip so the only choice is
to plug and unplug every time you use them or put those on and off with a
power strip. Not sure how doing that would hurt those components.
