Craig, yes, I have the vent, and I'm glad to know it was you who suggested running it through the speakeasy. I've been working on that top octave for quite some time also, and have been documenting it all in a long text file which'll make yours seem like a readers digest version. I have the sound I want down with the real leslie now for the CX, but still tweaking the vent a bit, although I think I'm finally there. I did a gig a week ago, and although I still prefer sitting on front of my leslie, I was totally content with the sound.
And yea, I think key to getting the vent to work is getting rid of the internal sim, and going with the pre out on the CX. I'll post the text somewhere with a link here (or the phone readers will be cursing me up and down) when I finish documenting everything, but I learned a bunch about making the Korg work through the process.
