Craig, -does the Kronos have assaignable outs? Can you output to the Vent seperately from your other sound
s. or do you have to switch the Vent's bypass on and off?

Subject: [CWSG] First gig last night using just my Kronos/CX3 engine - great/OK
Summary...
Well, using the Kronos all by itself on the first gig turned out to be exactly what I would have expected. The Kronos sounds, voices, splits, layers, effects and functionality (both as a live performance instrument, and in the studio) are all fantastic! It worked well, easy to read displays, easy to configure and use all the controls, and I was able to do with one keyboard what I have always had to use a double manual clone AND a sound module or synth to do! As a clone, the Kronos is a bit of a compromise from a user interface standpoint with faders instead of Drawbars, non-waterfall keyboard, no dedicated controls etc.. but the CX3 engine itself sounds quite good. As I said I still have some tweaking to do to create a sound that I will be perfectly happy with, but I think I'm going to get there, and the reality is that I'm really fussy!!
So there you go..
Craig
