I came across this awhile ago. I read on a DIY synth forum that Jurgen Haible, the gentleman who designed this d.i.y. unit, passed away last year. I found that sad; I believe he was fairly young (47 years old) at the time of his death and he left behind a wife and kids. He seemed to be onto some cool ideas, especially the scanner c/v one. I'm not much of a serious electronics DIY'er, but it looks like he put a lot of thought into trying to get it to emulate the Hammond c/v authentically. Check out the video clips.
