Subject:Re: V-Machines that didn't work for me,

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for your reply.

I couldn't put the new firmware on the machine.
My laptops would load the drivers, and I knew that VXF could see the V-Machine because when I pushed the two upload buttons on the V-Machine, VXF on my laptop said 'uploading firmware' but then it didn't do anything, and oddly, none of my laptops could see the V-Machine in the 'my computer' window. The device wasn't listed as being connected. The drivers had installed OK though.

Seems totally buggy.

Just on the VXF program alone without involving the V-Machine, it has a learn button, and when pressed, says waiting for midi message.
It says this even when the message has been sent, and VB3 within the VXF host program has responded to it. VB3 will learn the new cc#, but VXF does nothing.

Gave it up as a bad job. Shame, it was a good idea, and now is peanuts to buy, I suppose that's why.
Keith
