My father is in a retirement home and when I was there last time I got to thinking about how these sort of places will deal with my generation (I'm pushing 61). I asked one of the admin people there how they will deal with us. I told her we're not going to want to sit around the piano an listen to show tunes, or play shuffle board. I'm still going to listen to Led Zeppelin and Hendrix, I'm going to drag all my music gear into my room and I'm still going to play my music loud. And being of the 1960's generation, if the old folks home does something to tick us off they'll probably have a protest march on their hands. She just went silent like she didn't know what to say. Yes indeed, this is going to be interesting to say the least.
