As I said, it could be worse, but reseating the connectors is the first
thing I would do. I used to have to do it about every 18 months on my
BX3. Certain connectors will just cause buttons and knobs to
'disappear' from use, while other connections will halt the
communication between the processors.

BTW, those 'small round things' are key weights. The plastic clips that
hold them sometimes break, especially on the v1 (non-waterfall) keys.
If capacitors fell off, I think the problems wouldn't be fixed by simply
removing the extra parts!
