It all depends on the sound you are going for. An authentic “B3” sound has no chorus effect on the Leslie however Genesis and many
other bands used Chorus on their Hammonds and it sounded great in that context. There is no one solution for the “best” sounding organ.
Even the B3 varied widely depending on age, condition, and manufacturing tolerance. Playing keyboards through guitar amps creates an
unique sound. Mini Moogs and Mellotrons were commonly used this way to give them an added “edge”. I am curious Allen, what kind of
music do you play primarily?

Hi guys i play my vk7 through the fender sfx 200 and to be quite honest it blows the ventilator away it sounded so thin the beauty of the sfx is adding a little bit of chorus it really in riches the on-board leslie effect on the vk7 just my opinion for what its worth
