Most clonewheels click more than the original tonewheel organs did. A lot of
tonewheel organs click like that now, but did not when new to that extent.

That means there is very little you can tweak on a B3.
I leaks as much as that individual leaks.
It clicks a lot more than you think - If a B3 had a click control i bet most
would turn it down.

But since there is very little you can do about it on the old hammonds you
accept it.
And then you focus on the real thing - playing it.

So on my Nord C1 and C2. I always use the leakiest model.
On the C2 click is on max. I crank up the treble.
Always some distorsion on.

I leave it there
I forget about the settings
I just play it.

You can spend hours trying to find the right sound and still not be happy
about it.
The individual spread in sound of the Hammonds is quite large anyhow.

My suggestion is - make is sound really noisy. Lots of click and leak.
Then spend your precious time practicing and honing your musical skills
because no matter how much you tweak you will always think you can get
closer.

And as the last resort if you can´t let go of sound ghost. Buy an old
tonewheeler so you can find peace of mind.
