Sonic differences will have to do with your plugins and hardware not the DAW software. If you are curious about meter accuracy
you can always compare it to other meter plugins.

I downloaded the demo. Lots of features and plugins. Plugins I wish I had on my PTHD rig. I'm out of the loop when it comes to MIDI. I just don't use it. There is a difference in sonics on the Reaper from the PT rig but fun to play along with and this may be because its my PC hosting the Reaper. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to import a sound file. Will experiment more with it. Does anyone know how accurate the meters are on this? As usual, I'm always blown away how people can just type on a keyboard a series of numbers and come up with all this and then think up things to do. They must be from another planet.
