I had not thought of changing / refinishing the end blocks ...wow

and I like to think of myself as a pretty good woodworker ..i have a great band saw ...
If i was to do that ..i would just make some replacement end blocks ..i have some nice maple and walnut in my storage shed ...
 
And i was being sarcastic about the color ...Actually I am good with the
red color of the NORD ..its part of what makes it a NORD.
