Many sound techs (and videographers) are like monkeys drawn to movement, so
there may be a killer keyboard solo going on but unless you are stabbing
your L-101 with knives, you may not be heard or seen.
Seriously, it has always fascinated and annoyed me when I go to a major act/
venue, with 6 figures worth of top PA gear, and the sound is a painful
thumping mush...I remember one such show at Bryce Jordan Center where the
sound tech sat mixing with headphones on all night!
