I agree, when it comes to failures, some (all?) large manufactures believe a certain percentage is OK and actually tweek their process to have some specific measurable level of failure if it will lower overall costs. The reasoning behind this is if they had Zero percent failures, then they may be spending too much to make them too good. Same goes with shipping and packaging, If there is Zero breakage, your spending too much on packing materials.

High end top-of-the-line manufactures cannot deal with this kind of mentality and typically charge accordingly. I suppose there's a middle ground too.

If you look hard enough, you will ALWAYS find someone to take your money: )
