Come to think of it.I don't think there is an instrument out that offers the
variety of synthesis that the PC3 series offers. Is there??? Unless you go
with VST's.???

I have to admit I looked into this and I was floored. It sounded really good
with the new update. Some music store in Australia has a demo on Youtube and
it really sounded great!!! I may be looking at one of these again.

Steve,

I've had a Kurzweil PC3X since they came out in 2008.

There are several ways to separate the outputs.

The most common approach is to send a program to the Auxillary Outs. This
affords you stereo outputs for two different programs.

Secondly, you can edit each program and pan it hard right or hard left.

Thirdly, you can use Setup mode and send one MIDI channel to the left, the
next MIDI channel to the right, the third MIDI channel to the left aux, the
fourth MIDI channel to the right aux.

Like all good tools, there are many ways to achieve the same thing.

And apropos to nothing in particular, there seems to be little to no talk on
this list about the improved Leslie sounds that the latest OS update
provides. Several Kurzweil PC3 B3 clone players have ditched their
Ventilator after seeing that they no longer need it. There are some good
demos on YouTube of this updated Leslie sound. They speak for themselves.
