Norm, I used to never be caught dead with Behringer equipment because of a
terribly noisy mixer I had by them. Then my stepkid got a little practice
amp and I hated to admit it but the thing sounded great. Next thing I ended
up getting was one of their volume pedals. It was the only one I could find
that had everything I needed on. I now have two of them. Then I needed a
monitor for my korg, and ended up with the Korg self powered with the 15. It
gets harsh if you really push it, and isn't quite as smooth as a mackie, but
was half the cost. I'd say I got a bit more than I payed for with that.
However, it fell off the pickup truck on the highway. I went back to pick up
the pieces and was surprised the thing was still intact. I used it on a gig
that night, and other than a slightly scratchy input jack, it's still
working great. So yea, I have no problems using some behringer stuff
nowadays.
Bottom line is if it sounds good to you, who cares who made it.
