What was it about the tinnitus that made you retire? Just wondering as I have tinnitus also.

And for the record, i did not use the word "stupid". I believe I used the word "silly". I should have used "odd" as that is a better descriptor of how I feel seeing something that does not match the sound.

But it is more than that. It is the whole Hammond interface of a real console organ. The playing experience. They got close with the XK pro systems.... Looked right... Felt right... Sounded right... Even when compromising with only two sets of drawbars and buttons instead of rockers, it was workable for old timer Hammond players like me.

I used to perform with a Roland VK7 and hated it, yeah i could make it sound decent and play all the parts, but it was just... Well... Wrong,,,, looked like a little synth on stage... I feel the same way about the SK1 and Electro... It just does not have that classic vibe...

And remember that Saturday night live spoof they did on Ricardo Montoban,,, "darling, it's better to look good than to feel good.... And you look Marvelous!". LOL
