I forgot to mention that to help you out on larger models, the E bass has a
bump on it. On 120 bass models, above E flat, and below F sharp, it just
repeats itself, this is so you get all 12 chords in a chromatic scale
without having to jump all the way to the other end. Also keep in mind that
48 bass models (of which Roland does not make), cut you off at E below
middle C, and b flat above middle C on the bass. you still get the 4 chord
variations, and the counter bass row. BTW, as to not offend enyone on the
list, if anyone has any other accordion questions, I'll be glad to answer in
a private email off list, I've been playing the damned thing for 2 years
less than I've played keys(30 years). I say damned as my left arm hates the
instrument, but I torture myself for the money.
