Ok, here's a quick run down of the bass buttons. It's very late here, and I may leave something out, so anyone want to correct me it's fine. And yes to make it on topic, if you have a midi box, you can assign the left hand to pedal tones for the bass and counter bass, and chords to the lower manual of your favorite clone. That said, here goes:

The bass row's middle C has a pit in it. I put my middle finger on that (some may use their 4th). then diagonally behind that that with my index finger I can hit C major, or minor, 7th or diminished, depending on how far back I place my finger.

Going to your feet, you move in 4ths, going towards your head, you move in 5ths. Going inside, you have a counter bass row going in major thirds to the root. You can, with some instruction (unless you're a genius) learn to walk basses with your 4 fingers alternating bass and counter bass rows.

Hope this helps, and also to make this on topic, one could also seek out a Farfisa Transichord (an accordion with telescoping bellows), which is a Compact Delux, run it through a leslie, and you have a very unique Hammond clone. Hows that for keeping this on topic?
