Hi Bruce,

I am the OP, so thanks for the comments from you an others.  I was sort of tempted by eBay.  But you are right in that the quality cannot be checked out.  I never thought there were accordion shops, so I will look into that.  I currently have a beat up old accordion my father-in-law found literally in someone's trash.  But I am hoping to buy something better than that! :-)  Appreciated the comments (and jokes!) everyone.
