Funny, Over the past few years that Herbie Hancock has been playing a
lot of keytar that he looked stupid playing it.

On the other hand, I have a keytar. I bought because I was covering a
missing bass player in a resident band. I either had to finish
learning bass well enough to do the gig overnight, get a keytar, or
get a giant cutout of a bass and stick it to the back of a synth on
stage (so that the audience knew I was playing bass). I went with the
less stupid option.
