Subject:Re: Ventilator rotors front stop?
Hey Nic,
The Ventilator on it's own won't brake the rotors, but when the footswitch is added, then you can have slow rotors, fast rotors and you can brake (stop) the rotors. There are a couple of advantages - the braked rotors are used in tunes like Green Onions and Time is Tight, so the sound is more authentic. Also, the difference in the sound from braked rotors to fast rotors becomes very dynamic. It's a definite plus to have the options. I've had mine for almost a year - it's the best thing I've added to my gear in a long time - it just sounds right.

Hi all,
I have a question about the Ventilator:
I remember reading that in the more recent ones the virtual rotors always stop in front.
True?
Any comments about advantages and disadvantages of this feature?
I personally think it would be a major plus.
Thanks
Nic
