Subject:RE: KeyB organ Expander Module plus dual manual controller?
I just watched the KeyB Expander video and now that I see the drawbars are in the expander (like a Voce) and there are no drawbars
on the keyboard I have lost interest in this product. First I don't want a module that sits on my controller, I want it in a rack with the
"controls" on the "controller". I really think they missed the boat with this modular concept. It is of course subjective as to what is
"best" as that varies with the individual's needs. I would have really like to have seen this done differently.

Not sure why you seem so certain that the KeyB products will make such a serious dent in NUMA sales. Isn't the brains behind the KeyB stuff the guy who designed the NUMA product line? And isn't the KeyB basically an older version of the NUMA (I could be very confused)..?
I don't understand why you are suggesting that the OS is more flexible, have you compared the OS's? Can you elaborate?
I tend to think that the NUMA is a pretty fantastic self-contained unit for under $2000, not everyone wants a double manual clone.. and if I wanted one, I wouldn't want one the comes in pieces... (like the XK3 system or this KeyB expander module/controller combination).
There are a bunch of other positives reasons why the NUMA is better than this module/controller comobo, the hammond style interface for one thing.. (which you should appreciate being an XK3C type)..
I'm not sure why you're so negative about the NUMA, you and I have been around hammonds and every clone imaginable for years and I can tell you first hand it's pretty great!
