Hi Organ-cloners,
I have a non standard laptop. However, I have found that it was way too noisy from the audio out. I was amazed to find if I lifted the ground the noise went away. This was a simple as using an adaptor plug for the power supply for the loaptop. You know, the kind you use when an old type receptacle has no ground pin. Amazing!!
That said I often use my Tascam 144 interface which acts as the sound card. This is silent also (without using the ground lift).
