Thanks for mentioning the M-audio Axiom. I have been considering the Axiom 61 over the Oxygen mainly because of the 4 midi keyboard zones. Not because the VB3 really needs the zones but it may come in handy for splitting upper/lower settings or incorporating other modules or sounds. The Oxygen with only one midi channel, you'd be SOL down the road if you wanted to do that kind of thing. I didn't even realize the Oxygen didn't have an expression pedal input. Right, that would be a deal breaker because, as I was pleased to discover, the exp pedal on the VB3 not only increases volume, it also adds more OD depending on how it's set. BTW, I also like how the exp pedal can go to almost off at heel down, my VK7 still has considerable output at heel down, kind of annoying.
