The 8" coaxial just does not have enough paper, so I found that Eminence 10" coaxial is the next size up that the horn driver can screw right into. I took out the 8 and used a fine blade jig saw to cut the baffle hole large enough to accommodate the 10. Carefully; it is a POS paper glue affair; no real wood there! There is NO room for anything else; as it is I had to drill out new holes for the bolt anchors, and had to use regular wood screws for the holes that had NO ROOM for the anchors. This is tight. I left the port alone; it moves a lot of air if you push the bass too much. I didn't expect much, but for the cost of the speaker and some work it is now a decent amp. Using it tomorrow nite live for the first time on a gig and I'll let you know how it holds up in the mix. I think the GT is a great stereo effect monitor on stage and dropping a line to FOH is great. I've had a lot of comps when using it in small gigs; "where's the Leslie tonite?" it works
for me on a limited capacity. If you are good with measurements and can handle removing the speakers, pc amp board and interference, go for it. Good Luck!
