Actually, that's one of the "learn-to-embrace-it" quirks of a single speed
Leslie cab. The position of the horn (and to a lesser degree the lower
rotor) changes the perceived level AND tonal quality of the organ, less so
acoustically but drastically when it's recorded, even w/two mics. I don't
yet have a Ventilator. Is this and either/or thing - no way to switch
between the two modes (index/random)?



Interesting mod - kinda like designing your baby's DNA!
