Has to confess that only knew about spring (aka Hammond reverb) in organs and guitar amps but never of a plate reverb.
Hear about N.O.S , unless for me , let me feel like a child again !
And "fandango" never would have find as substance even using online thesaurus.
Hard to find , same as looking for two words concepts (or more)in dictionaries.

Long before digital reverb, 'pro' reverb was created by sending the
sound through a heavy metal plate. It has a darker, denser reverb than
most spring reverbs.
Fandango: too much LSD ... ;-)
