Subject:bar fires was BC

In the late '60's when I was in high school, we were playing (illegally)
one summer in this club in Tupper Lake, NY. We played all night every
night for a couple weeks and slept on cots upstairs. The place caught
fire one night when we were playing, so everyone in the bar helped and
we moved all of our stuff out on the sidewalk. We partied out there for
a few hours while they put the fire out, then we moved back in and
played the rest of the night - I was playing my blue RMI piano and a
Farfisa Fast 4 organ. The Farfisa's cord got cut moving it out, but our
guitar player fixed it in a few minutes and we rock 'n rolled 'till dawn
(everything did smell like smoke though,,,)
