I also traveled for a couple of years with a BC and two 122s. I agree that it is a very underrated organ and it did sound
great. It's a much fuller sound with the extra set of tonewheels. It was a heavy beast!

I'll add to that. A BC was my first Hammond during my teen years.
Must've played over 1000 gigs with it. I moved off to college, bought
a B3. Had a chance to do a 3 month gig in my home town one summer where
the BC was at my parents'. After getting back to college town, I fired
up my B3. Was I ever disappointed. Sounded thin and miserable and it
was basically brand new from a long time Hammond dealer in the Midwest
where I went to college. The BC is the most underrated of the Hammonds.
