To be honest I've never had a crossover to fail in any of my equipment and I've been in this field (music AND repair) since 1962. I can see how they might fail.
Another thought occurs to me.
Some companies protect their horns with a fuse, and sometimes, even a small light bulb.
Perhaps that is the case here.
The speakers (especially the woofer) will likely have to be removed from the front to gain access. Keep me informed.
You might also "google" your model no. and find some info.
