Cool story and fantastic photos. Balboa Park, I remember it well. You
guys really looked and sounded the part..How'd you get that slicing top
rotor tone on your rig? And the pitch bend? I saw that 31 in your
basement man along with all the orig classic 60's posters you had on
your living room walls... Drool...Them were the days and you were
definitelyTHERE...

Yeah, it all seems to be working for what I'm playing. Whatever floats
your
boat. Just as an aside, my favorite set up was waaaaaay back when.
Those
were the days when people would fight to be roadies just to say, "I'm
with
the band". Was able to haul a C3>31H then miked and pumped through two
Acoustic 260/261s. The sound guys hated me as they had no control
what-so-ever.
Used to open for such bands as Tower of Power, Paul Butterfield, and
Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. Usually at the Balboa Bowl
in San
Diego. If ya want a Blast to the Past check out

has some
cool,if not, nostalgic pics of life back in the day. ORF Bob
