There is no reason at all to think the Ventilator will fail any more than the Electro. I use the Ventilator with
an XK-3c and an 11 pin adaptor. If I pull power from the Ventilator to simulate a power supply failure
the Ventilator goes into bypass and activates the onboard simulator so it's like having an automatic
backup.

If you are using the Ventilator with an Electro, why not just use the
internal Leslie simulator on it should you fear there will be a malfunction
with the Ventilator? The Electro¹s simulator is certainly realistic enough.
