I never knew the full story of my B-2. It was a battered road warrior
already and the case was totally shot when I got it in 1972. It had belonged
to a St. Louis jazz cat named Tommy Dean (I know this because his name was
still painted on the fall board).

It seems that it had been hot rodded before I owned it. I learned my first
electronics modifying and chopping this organ, and carried it on the road
for another 10 years. It had an unusual generator in it, which had sine wave
tone wheels all the way down the bottom pedal octave. This would have been
from an even earlier model, but it allowed me to wire that bottom octave
into the manuals for some down low key bass.

I also added an Orgonics tube percussion unit to it and built custom biamped
leslies for it.
