Goff, thanks so much for taking the time to listen to the entire CD.. yes I do have quite a sense of accomplishment as a result of forcing myself to "chain one hook after another" as you say.. It's really easy for us musicians to come up with an interesting part/riff, but not so easy to chain things together, then add suitable lyrics, arrange, record, mix and master.. What an effort it was, but also what a learning experience, and it was very rewarding, especially when guys like yourself seem to enjoy the end product!

The software stuff really isn't that difficult to master IF you have a tiny bit of assistance from a knowledgable friend just to help you through the basics (just to speed up the learning process).. what I have know about computer recording I have learned basically through osmosis, but I have been at it since I bought my first midi interface (Roland MPU-401) and I connected my Juno 60 to a Yamaha DX7 in the mid-80's. After which I bought a PC and sequencer plus and cakewalk and that was it!! Hard to believe it's over 25 years since this education began for me AND over the last 2 years the education has continued at an even faster pace while I worked part-time as a keyboard consultant helping provide advice to newbees and seasoned keyboard players on keyboards and recording.. (although I quit that job about a month ago).

Re "NWO".. you have an interesting slant on the cover... as I said it's deep man!! I'm all about simplicity and my guitar player tends to love the layered complexity, so we make a good combo when it comes to music, but when it comes to art work, it's best left to him..

As a musician, I love sounds.. and sounds tends to be the inspiration for everything I write (I'm not a story teller by any means).. and I find that synth/recording software is a really an inexpensive and easy way to open up a huge pallet of sounds that sparks one's creativity.. As much as I love the classic vintage instruments, there software opens up a whole new world..!!

Thanks Goff!!
