Yeah, I may have been a bit harsh by saying "poor article". Actually it is a good article that does indeed include important considerations of regular musicians (as Bruce points out).

Being a professional theatre designer I work with a lot of sound guys. EV is still considered a leader in high quality sound reinforcement systems. Judging from the Keyboard mag forum, many keyboardists use EV gear, especially SRX450s.
